on our way home from church today...
Wesley: "Mommy, what is that delicious smell I smell?"
Me: "Hey look, there are a bunch of cows over there." (admittedly, off subject)
W: "No, that isn't it. I don't smell any milk."
a few minutes later...
W: "Sid the Science Kid is a good show to learn things."
Me: "Yeah, I like to learn things."
W: "Do you know why a banana turns brown and decays" (yes, he used the word decay!)
Me: "Yes, I guess I do."
W: "How do you know? Did Daddy tell you?"
Me: "No, I guess I learned it in school some time."
W: "Oh yeah, school would be a good place to learn about stuff decaying and stuff."
...but his mother treasured all these things in her heart (Luke 2:51b)
